Summer is winding down and so is my short series on reflections from a homemaker’s summer. In previous episodes, I’ve shared with you the lessons I learned about my homemaking weakness when climbing hills in Switzerland and the great examples of hospitality I experienced in Italy.

Today, I’m sharing a lesson learned a little closer to home. I’m reflecting on the joy of helping others make a home, even though it may cost me time, effort and resources.
